YEAR:
2019/2020
In 2019, I was approached by the musuem about an upcoming exhibit they had planned for then next year.
In preparation for the event, I conducted research into the project and what served as inspiration behind the exhibit. Looking back on classic Greek and Renaissance art movements, I was both inspired and awe-struck by the amount of detail that went into works of art from these periods. The goal was to transfer such artistic craftsmanship to the design of this event.
Getting to work right away, myself and our team created designs and visualizations that complimented the subject matter and highlighted the work on display. Principle photography was created on-site, with 3D visualizations and renderings created in-house in our studio.
The process
Displays were created well in advance of the exhibition date. For larger displays, we used 3D visualization software to create mockups and visuals before beginning the work. Once displays were created, photography was used next for advertising purposes in order to hype the upcoming exhibition
3D rendering was used to generate images for the exhibit
The outcome
The exhibit turned out to be a huge success, with the largest purchase of tickets in the museum's history. Over 10,000 individual viewings took place in the month of September, and the exhibit has gone on to become a permanant display.
Special thanks
We would like to send a special thanks to the musuem for the opportunity to work on this project. Also thanks to our team for the hard work and dedication it took to make this project one of our proudest moments.
